What feed does Birat Agri make?
Floating fish feed, and feed for poultry, cattle and pigs.
What is floating fish feed?
Feed that stays on the surface of the water. You can watch your fish eat and stop feeding when they are full, so less feed is wasted and the pond stays cleaner.
What goes into Birat feed?
Soybean meal, maize, rice bran and fish meal, from suppliers we have checked.
Do you sell fingerlings?
Yes, from our own hatchery. Call us to check which species and sizes are ready.
Do you sell fresh fish?
Yes. Live and fresh pangas and carp from our own ponds are sold at Birat outlets in Itahari, Dharan and Biratnagar.
Which fish do you grow?
Mainly pangas and tilapia, with some carp, in our own ponds in Morang and Sunsari.
How should I store fish feed in the monsoon?
Keep the bags in a dry, airy room, off the floor on a pallet and away from walls and leaks. Use the oldest bags first, and do not feed damp or mouldy feed to your fish.

How do I get today's feed price?
Call or WhatsApp us with your district and the feed you need. Prices change with ingredient costs, so we give them directly.
How do I order feed?
Call us, or send the form on the Contact page with your district, the feed and the quantity. We reply with the price and the nearest place to collect it.
Can I buy on this website?
Not yet. For now, orders are taken by phone and through our dealers.

Where can I buy Birat feed near me?

How do I become a dealer?
Send the form on the Contact page and choose "Become a dealer". Tell us your district and the feed you sell today, and we will call you.
Do you deliver?
We supply farmers across Koshi Province. Whether we deliver to you depends on your district and the quantity, so ask when you order.

Where is Birat Agri?
Our feed plant is at Khanar, Itahari-13, Sunsari, in Koshi Province.
Is Birat Agri the same as Birat Feed?
Yes. Birat Feed Pvt. Ltd. is now Birat Agri Limited, and our feed still carries the Birat Feed name.
Does Birat Agri farm fish itself?
Yes. We grow pangas, tilapia and carp in our own ponds in Morang and Sunsari, and feed them with the feed we make.
